Ron Hurak is an entrepreneur, software developer, speaker, and course creator whose life journey is as compelling as his professional achievements.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ron faced a difficult childhood marked by poverty, instability, and hardship. By the age of fourteen, he was living on his own. Despite these challenges, Ron made a defining decision early in life, to create a future filled with purpose, success, and happiness. That decision shaped everything that followed.
A Transformation
Over the next five decades, Ron built a successful international technology company alongside his wife of over 50 years, Kay. He is the original developer of Profit Power, a back-office accounting solution used by many of the world’s largest real estate brokerages. He later expanded his vision with SMARTS, designed for smaller firms, and CAP, a powerful commission simulation tool that helps broker owners make smarter, data-driven decisions.
A Full and Rewarding Life
Beyond business, Ron is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, an accomplished musician with his album “Chillin’” available online, and an avid golfer with a single-digit handicap. Today, Ron shares the lessons from his life through speaking and his course, “So Life Sucks. Get Over It!”, where he delivers straightforward, practical strategies for turning adversity into opportunity. His message is simple:
